Creative Edge, a brand of Toprankers, is a premier institute for preparation of Design and Architecture entrance exams such as UCEED, NID, NIFT, NATA, and CEED. The institute focuses on developing students’ creative thinking, visualization skills, problem-solving abilities, and design aptitude required to succeed in competitive design entrance examinations.
The Design & Art Faculty will be responsible for training students in drawing, design fundamentals, visualization, and creative thinking, while preparing them for design entrance examinations.
Role Overview
The Design & Art Faculty will teach and mentor students preparing for design entrance examinations, helping them build strong creative, analytical, and visualization skills. The role involves delivering engaging classroom sessions, evaluating student work, and supporting students in developing their design portfolios and creative thinking abilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Classroom Teaching
Deliver classroom sessions for Design and Architecture entrance exam preparation (UCEED, NID, NIFT, NATA, CEED).
Teach subjects such as:
Drawing & Sketching
Design Fundamentals
Visualization & Perspective
Creative Thinking
Composition & Color Theory
Problem Solving in Design
Conduct both theoretical and practical art sessions.
2. Student Mentorship
Guide students in improving sketching, visualization, and creative ideation skills.
Provide constructive feedback on student assignments and projects.
Mentor students on portfolio development and creative problem-solving.
3. Assignment & Evaluation
Design and assign creative exercises, sketching tasks, and design assignments.
Evaluate student submissions and provide detailed feedback.
Track student progress and identify areas of improvement.
4. Curriculum Delivery & Development
Deliver sessions as per the Creative Edge curriculum and academic framework.
Contribute to development of:
Study materials
Practice assignments
Creative exercises
Mock tests
Stay updated with latest trends in design education and entrance exam patterns.
5. Exam Preparation Support
Train students for design aptitude tests, studio tests, and interview rounds.
Conduct mock tests and portfolio reviews.
Help students build confidence for design school admission processes.
6. Student Engagement
Create a supportive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages creativity.
Participate in:
Workshops
Portfolio review sessions
Design competitions
Open houses and student events.
7. Collaboration with Academic Team
Work closely with centre heads, counsellors, and academic coordinators.
Share student progress and feedback regularly.
Support in academic planning and student performance improvement.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
Design (B.Des / M.Des)
Fine Arts (BFA / MFA)
Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch)
Applied Arts or related fields
Graduates from institutes such as NID, NIFT, IIT (Design), IDC, Srishti, or similar institutions will be preferred.
Preferred Experience
1 - 4 years of experience in:
Teaching art/design
Design entrance exam coaching
Professional design practice
Experience with design coaching institutes will be an advantage.
